General
characteristics of the farm
IL LAGHETTO DEL SOLE
This Farm extends for about 70 hectares on an area planted with
vegetables, fruit, cereals and wine and it’s divided into
3 parts: Zannona, Cà di Mezzo and Monte Montale. |
In the
first part you can find the restaurant with a
capacity of 120 seats, but in summer you can also eat outside.
Moreover there’s a big camping site for
tents, campers and caravans.
In the second part,
Cà di Mezzo, there are 12 bedrooms and
2 top-floor flats which provide an accommodation
for 40 people. |
Also located
in this area 2 big fishing lakes and some
cultivated fields.
The third part, Monte Montale, is devoted
to the breeding either of 150 sheeps ( our speciality
is mutton ) ,14 cows and 70 pigs on the basis of a yearly rotation.

More of
60% of the food of the restaurant is produced directly in the
farm which follows the EEC 1257 ex 2078 standard for
an integrated production I.E. respect for the environment.
THE
FESTIVALS AT IL LAGHETTO DEL SOLE

IL LAGHETTO DEL SOLE pays a lot of attention
to the values of the country tradition; for this reason, the farm
organises several festivals all over the year
in order to celebrate the most important activities of the countryside.

This farm received these certificates:
UNI EN ISO 14001: this farm adopts a policy
which reduces the impact of agriculture on the environment by
applying a control through different procedures That are supervised
by the S.G.S. , a world-wide recognised body.

EMAS:
a European environmental certificate that is characterised by
procedures similar to the previous ones but with a more objective
control system through chemical and bacteriological water, field
and product analysis.
These 2 described certificates
need also the customers cooperation who should be involved in
the process
of reaching environmental goals. |

Besides, the
customers should demand environmental protection.
UNI EN ISO 9001 : Quality procedure characterised
by a strict control of everything related to the production, I.E.
goods, suppliers, structures and infrastructures in order to reach
the aims of the environment policy. |
